You Cannot Stay Neutral

Pilate knew the truth. He said it himself, repeatedly: "I find no fault in Him." He even received a

personal warning from his own wife. Every piece of evidence pointed in the same direction. And still, he chose the crowd over Christ. He thought washing his hands made him neutral. It did not. Jesus made it clear that there is no middle ground when it comes to Him. You are either with Him or you are not. Refusing to decide is itself a decision. This is one of the most important truths you will ever encounter. Politeness, delay, and indifference are not safe positions. They are rejections dressed up in comfortable clothing. Pilate was more interested in keeping the peace than securing his eternity, and that choice cost him everything. The good news is that you are not Pilate yet. You still have today. The Holy Spirit is still calling. The invitation is still open. You do not have to make the same mistake. Choosing Christ is not a loss of freedom. It is the beginning of the only life that truly matters.

Bible Verse

"Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters." - Matthew 12:30

Reflection Question

Is there an area of your faith where you have been "washing your hands" rather than making a clear, committed decision to follow Christ?

Prayer

Jesus, I do not want to be someone who knows the truth but never fully surrenders to it. Give me the courage to choose You clearly and completely, starting today. Amen.
