Today Is the Day
None of us are promised tomorrow. People go to work expecting to come home, and sometimes they do not. Life is fragile, and eternity is long. That is not meant to frighten you. It is meant to wake you up to the beauty of what is available right now. Salvation is not complicated. It is not earned through effort or achieved through perfection. It is received by faith in Jesus Christ, who died for your sins and rose from the grave so that you could have eternal life. That resurrection is not just a historical fact. It is your hope. The Bible says now is the accepted time. Not someday. Not when life settles down. Now. The Holy Spirit is calling, and every day you respond to that call is a gift. If you have never placed your faith in Jesus, today is your day. If you have drifted, today is your day to come back. The same grace that was available at the cross is available to you right now. Do not let another day pass without settling the most important question of your life. Meet Him at Calvary, while the door is still open.
Bible Verse
"For he says, ‘In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.’ I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation." - 2 Corinthians 6:2
Reflection Question
What is one thing that has been keeping you from fully surrendering to Christ, and what would it look like to let go of that today?
Prayer
Lord, thank You that today is still a day of grace. I receive Your gift of salvation by faith, and I choose to meet You at Calvary rather than face eternity without You. Amen.
