The Ultimate Overrule

Every story in Scripture is pointing to one moment. Every hidden king, every preserved promise, every act of divine protection across thousands of years was building toward a single Sunday morning outside Jerusalem. Satan thought the cross was his greatest victory. Hell threw a party on Friday night. Every resource the enemy had was used to seal that tomb and keep Jesus inside. But on the third day, Jesus walked out. The stone rolled away, death was defeated, and the serpent's head was crushed exactly as God promised in Genesis 3:15. That is the ultimate overrule. And it is the foundation of every promise God has made to you. If you are carrying something heavy today, if the enemy has been telling you that your past is too broken, your sin is too great, or your situation is too far gone, hear this clearly: that voice is not telling you the truth. The same God who preserved a baby in a hidden room, who raised His Son from a sealed tomb, is the God who is working in your story right now. What the enemy tried to destroy, God preserved for eternity. That includes you. You are not too far gone. You are not forgotten. The resurrection is proof that God always gets the last word, and His word over your life is good.

Bible Verse

"She kept him hidden in the temple of the Lord for six years while Athaliah ruled the land." - 2 Kings 11:3

Reflection Question

What lie has the enemy been speaking over your life that the truth of the resurrection directly contradicts, and how can you begin to replace that lie with what God has actually said?

Prayer

Jesus, thank You for walking out of that grave and crushing the enemy's power forever. Help me to live today in the freedom of the resurrection and to believe that Your promises over my life are unbreakable. Amen.
