Prepared in the Wilderness

It is easy to look at a season of waiting and wonder if God has forgotten you. Moses spent 40 years in the wilderness before God called Him to one of the greatest assignments in human history. He was not sitting idle. He was being shaped. God had to deflate Moses' pride first. The man who once walked the halls of Egypt's most powerful palace had to become a shepherd in the desert. That is not a demotion. That is preparation. God does not waste a single year of your life, even the ones that feel unproductive or painful. Maybe you are in a season that feels more like wilderness than purpose. Take heart. God is not finished with you. He is forming you. The very things that feel like setbacks are often the tools He uses to build something lasting in your character. Moses did not become the most humble man on earth by accident. Humility was forged in him through years of obscurity. And when the moment came, he was ready. Your moment is coming too. Stay faithful in the waiting.

Prayer

Lord, help me trust Your process even when I cannot see the purpose. Remind me that You are at work in every season, and give me the patience to remain faithful while You prepare me. Amen.
