It’s Never Too Late

Most of us have a quiet fear that we have missed our window. Maybe we made too many mistakes, waited too long, or simply feel like our best years are behind us. Moses would disagree. At 80 years old, Moses was not winding down. He was just getting started. He stood before the most powerful ruler on earth and did not flinch. The man who once fled Egypt in failure returned as a vessel of God's power and authority. God does not operate on the world's timeline. He is not limited by your age, your past, or your resume. In fact, it is often after years of being shaped and humbled that He is finally able to use us most effectively. The wilderness years were not wasted on Moses. They were the very thing that made him ready. If you have been telling yourself that you are too old, too broken, or too far behind, hear this: God is not done with you. He sees exactly where you are, and He is more than capable of writing the next chapter of your story.

Father, forgive me for the times I have placed limits on what You can do through me. Renew my faith that You are not finished with my story, and give me the courage to say yes when You call. Amen.
