Protect Without Delay
When God warned Joseph to flee to Egypt, He did not give Joseph time to think it over. The danger
was real, the moment was urgent, and Joseph moved immediately. He did not wait until morning. He got up, took his family, and went. That kind of protective instinct is exactly what God calls fathers to carry. Protecting your home is not just about locking the doors at night. It is about being spiritually alert to what is coming against your family and responding with urgency. The enemy does not announce himself. Harmful influences, spiritual drift, and moral confusion do not knock and wait to be invited in. They creep in slowly, and a passive Father may not notice until the damage is done. But here is the good news. You do not have to be a perfect Father to be a protective one. You just have to be awake, attentive, and willing to act when God prompts you. Joseph was not a superhero. He was a man who listened and obeyed. Your family needs that same kind of Father. Not perfect, just present and obedient.
Bible Verse
"Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, Rise, take the child and His mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you, for Herod is about to search for the child, to destroy Him. And he rose and took the child and his mother by night and departed to Egypt." - Matthew 2:13-14
