Different by Design

When your speech reflects grace and truth, when your conduct demonstrates integrity, when your priorities center on eternal rather than temporary things, you'll stand out. You cannot coexist comfortably with worldly values and abide in Christ simultaneously. This tension is actually a sign that you're on the right track. The world's hatred isn't something to seek, but it's something to expect when you live distinctively as a Christian. Your transformed life becomes a light that exposes darkness, and not everyone appreciates that light. But remember, this opposition is temporary. Your true citizenship is in heaven, and your ultimate approval comes from God, not from the world. Let your difference be a testimony to the transforming power of Christ in your life.
