You Are Not An Accident

In a culture that sometimes makes people feel worthless or forgotten, here's a truth that will transform how you see yourself and others: you are made in God's image. This isn't just a nice religious saying—it's the foundation of human dignity and worth. Every person you encounter today carries the image of their Creator. The elderly person struggling with memory, the unborn child, the person society has forgotten—they all bear God's image. This means you have inherent value that no one can take away. Your worth isn't determined by your performance, your mistakes, or what others think of you. It's determined by whose image you bear. When you truly understand this, it changes how you see yourself and how you treat others. You cannot claim to love God while hating people made in His image.

Bible Verse

'So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.' - Genesis 1:27

Reflection Question

How does knowing you're made in God's image change the way you view your own worth and the worth of others around you?

Prayer

Father, help me see myself and others through Your eyes, recognizing the incredible value You've

placed on every human life. Let this truth shape how I treat myself and others.
