God’s Unchanging Faithfulness

In our darkest moments, when consequences feel overwhelming, we might wonder if God has abandoned us. Has He forgotten His promises? Has He given up on us? The answer is a resounding no. God is faithful to His word - both His warnings and His promises. He doesn't lie, forget, or change His mind like we do. When the people of Judah faced 70 years of captivity, it wasn't proof that God had abandoned them. It was proof that God keeps His word - He had warned them this would happen if they continued in rebellion. But here's the beautiful truth: the same God who was faithful to bring consequences was equally faithful to His promise of restoration. Even in their darkest hour, God had already planned their return home. His faithfulness includes both discipline and deliverance, both correction and compassion. When we're walking through difficult seasons, we can trust that God hasn't forgotten us - He's working even in our pain to bring us back to Him.

Bible Verse

'Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.' - Hebrews 13:8
