Could today be the day?
Lot's wife's story ends with instant judgment, reminding us that we're not guaranteed another moment to make the most important decision of our lives. She had been given chances to change, opportunities to believe, and warnings to heed, but she squandered them all. The sobering reality is that God's patience, while great, is not infinite.
But here's the encouraging truth: if you're reading this today, if your heart is being stirred by the Holy Spirit, if you're feeling convicted about your need for salvation - that's God calling you! He's not done with you yet. Today is still the day of salvation, and His arms are wide open to receive you. You don't have to wait until you feel worthy or until you've fixed all your problems. Salvation isn't about becoming perfect before coming to God - it's about coming to God so He can make you perfect in His sight. The moment you call upon the name of the Lord with genuine faith, you are saved, forgiven, and adopted into God's family.
The choice before you is simple but eternal: Will you choose the joy of salvation or face the judgment of sin? Will you trust in Jesus Christ today, or will you risk becoming another cautionary tale like Lot's wife?
God isn't bluffing about eternity - we will all face it either with Jesus or without Him. Don't let this moment pass. Don't become another 'almost' story. Today, right now, you can have the assurance of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.
Bible Verse
'Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.' - Romans 10:13
Reflection Question
If today were your last opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, what would prevent you from making that decision right now?

Prayer
Lord Jesus, I don't want to delay any longer. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I call upon Your name for salvation right now. Forgive me, save me, and make me Your child. Thank You for Your love and grace. Help me live for You from this day forward. Amen.
